Raise Funds for a Cause on Ketto and Win Two Free Tickets to See Coldplay, JAY Z and Several Indian Artists Live in Mumbai

Global Citizen India, the social action platform, has partnered with Ketto, Asia's most trusted crowdfunding platform, to give away 1000 free tickets to the much anticipated inaugural Global Citizen Festival India to be held in Mumbai on 19 November, featuring headline acts of Coldplay and Jay Z among others.

The Festival is the first initiative of newly-launched Global Citizen India and will invite stars from the world of music, sport, art and culture as well as leading figures from government and corporates to commit their support to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals of Clean Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Quality Education and Gender Equality.

While 80% of the tickets to the Festival will be earned by people who sign up to the http://www.globalcitizen.in platform and perform Action Journeys, for the first time tickets will also be available by raising funds through the dedicated Global Citizen India Ketto platform: https://globalcitizenindia.ketto.org.

1000 free tickets can be won by raising funds for selected projects that align with the focus areas of the Global Citizen Festival India. The selected issues include:

-   WaterAid India (Clean Water, Sanitation and Hygiene - WASH)

-  Miracle Foundation (Quality Education)

-  Oxfam India (Gender Equality)

Ketto will be introducing the fundraising activity in four phases with the following goal amounts:

Target fundraising goals: 

1st Phase | Rs. 50,000 - the first 125 people get 2 x tickets

2nd Phase | Rs. 75,000 - the first 125 people get 2 x tickets

3rd Phase | Rs. 90,000 - the first 125 people get 2 x tickets

4th Phase | Rs. 1,00,000 - the first 125 people get 2 x tickets

It's going to be a fundraising challenge - the fastest to successfully raise funds will win themselves an entry to the Global Citizen Festival India, headlined by Coldplay, JAY Z and several Indian artists. The first phase of tickets will be earned by 125 people who raise Rs. 50,000 the quickest. The second phase of tickets will be earned by 125 people who are the fastest to raise Rs. 75,000. The third phase of tickets will be for 125 people who are first in raising Rs. 90,000 and subsequently the tickets from the last phase will be earned by 125 people who are the first to raise Rs. 1,00,000.

The festival will also feature Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, music maestros such as A.R. Rahman, Arijit Singh, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, and Monali Thakur.
