Reliance Car Insurance Launches 'Anywhere Assist', a Complimentary Roadside Assistance Service

"Car breakdowns won't last for long," that's what Reliance General Insurance has been promising its car insurance customers recently. In August 2014, Reliance General Insurance introduced a new feature - Anywhere Assist - in its private car insurance policy.

'Anywhere Assist' is a 24x7 roadside assistance service for all Reliance private car insurance policy customers. Under this benefit, Reliance motor insurance customers can avail roadside assistance within a large radius of 25km from their car breakdown location for any of the following problems: towing assistance, battery jumpstart, minor repairs, tyre punctures, emergency fuel assistance, delivering back-up key, organising a taxi, organising hotel accommodation, and sending outgoing messages.

There are other general insurance companies which offer such kind of service. However, the uniqueness of 'Anywhere Assist' is that Reliance General Insurance is not charging its customers for this on-road service. The service comes as a complimentary add-on with Reliance car insurance policy.

Reliance's 'Anywhere Assist' has gained popularity among the customers quickly. Gautam Mahendru, a Reliance car insurance policy holder while speaking of his experience, said, "On July 21, my car broke down and I made a call to Reliance and I am happy to say they were prompt to revert.
