Thanthi TV in India Expands its Deployment of LiveU Technology
Upgrades and adds new LiveU LU500 units to support its daily live news coverage
HACKENSACK, New Jersey, June 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- LiveU announced today that Thanthi TV, a 24-hour Tamil news television channel based in Chennai, India, is increasing its LiveU deployment to support its live newsgathering capabilities. Thanthi TV is adding eight LU500 portable transmission units and upgrading another nine LU70s to the LU500, bringing the total count to 17 units overall.
