The 29-year-old London School of Economics educated Raidev Akoi added that he has been significantly inspired by his father Jasdev Akoi who was relentless in his pursuit to turn around The Imperial Hotel as one of the world's best hotels making Delhi proud. "Growing up I observed my father's efforts in restoring The Imperial from what had become a very run down establishment into one of the world's best luxury hotels. This remarkable personal effort would go on to surpass global hotel chains and his discipline and drive inspired me deeply," said Raidev Akoi.
