Ltd. is now empanelled by The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) as information security auditing service provider. To this effect, TÜV SÜD South Asia Pvt. Ltd. will conduct information security audits for government organisations and other sectors of Indian economy to help enhance the company's reputation whilst building consumer trust. The audits will be performed as per 'The Terms and conditions of Empanelment' as issued by CERT-In from time to time and published on CERT-In Website.

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of the Govt. of India, has been designated to serve as the national nodal agency for incident response under Section 70B of Information Technology (Amendment) Act 2008. CERT-In's primary role is to raise cyber security awareness among Indian community, to provide technical support and advise them to help recover from cyber security incidents.

Recently, RBI through a circular released on April 6, 2018, has mandated that payment service providers need to have their data stored locally in India. In this regard, they have mandated a system audit to be conducted by CERT-In empanelled agency and submit their report to the RBI by the end of this year. With this empanelment, TÜV SÜD South Asia Pvt. Ltd. may also have option to support payment service providers by conducting thorough IT system audits and present timely reports.
