The issue needs a paradigm shift at all four levels in terms of policy, plan, programme and project. The expo and conference looks at objectives, best management practices, re-evaluation of technology to design affordable solutions, local recycle and reuse of water, create informed public opinion and promote water-prudent cities. The show also serves as a platform to bring stakeholders from the central and state governments, local self-governing bodies and citizens and project their success stories in the field of waste management and sanitation. We are indebted to the Ministry of Urban Development, and the Swachh Bharat Mission for showing their unstinting support in our endeavour."
