HANAU, Germany, Feb. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- VACUUMSCHMELZE (VAC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Abhishek Nagarkar as its Director of Sales in India.
India's recent economic growth has been bolstered by active investment in research & development (R&D). To meet VAC's end market technological demands, the company has steadily increased its regional team in India and has enhanced this effort with the recent hire of Abhishek Nagarkar, who will serve as the Director of Sales in India beginning in February 2018.
VAC's technological advantage is driven by its differentiated materials and process know-how as well as its close collaboration with customers. The company has maintained this advantage by establishing a presence in its customers' geographies, allowing VAC to provide critical technical and development support to its customers' R&D efforts.
Mr. Abhishek Nagarkar joins VAC with over a decade of sales and business development experience across multiple industries within India, including industrial, solar and automotive. Prior to joining VAC, he was the Business Development Manager for Emerson Network Power. He has also held management and technical sales positions at Larsen & Toubro and Schneider Electric. Mr. Nagarkar graduated with a BE in electronics from Nagpur University as well as an MBA from the University of Mumbai.
