www.thecherrytree.in, a portal on Kashmir invites nominations for the 3rd season of 'Celebrating the spirit of the women of Kashmiri origin 2016'.
Aligned with 'International Women's Day on 8th March, TheCherryTree.in maps the extraordinary resolve of the woman of Kashmiri origin during the month of March. The special feature will acknowledge the woman of Kashmiri origin for their work and their effort to keep the culture of Kashmir alive.

The nominations are open to women of Kashmiri origin irrespective of their age, profession, religion or location. The nominations will be open from 29th January, 2016 till 10th February, 2016.
During the 2nd season of the campaign, few who were acknowledged were Late Renu Fotedar (Transpersonal Counsellor, Switzerland), Saba Shafi (Makeup artist, Srinagar), Shereen Bhan (Managing Editor, CNBC-TV 18), Hina Shafi Bhat (Political person, Srinagar) and Shefali Razdan Duggal (Presidential Appointee to President Barack Obama to the United States Holocaust Memorial Council).
