Ziqitza to Continue Running 108 Free Ambulance Service in Punjab

Ziqitza Participated and Won the Tender Floated by Punjab Government as the Lowest Price Bidder to Provide Free 108 Ambulance Service  

Punjab Government recently signed an MoU with Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd., extending their 108 free ambulance services contract in the state. The pre-hospital healthcare company will provide 108 ambulance services to the people of Punjab under the PPP model until 2021.

Mr. Naresh Jain, CEO, Ziqitza Healthcare Limited commented on the extension, "The renewal of our contract is a testament to the quality of services that we have provided and the trust that the State Government has bestowed on us. The 108 service is a toll-free number which can be dialed by any mobile or land line phone without any charges. By dialing this number, anybody in the state can avail the free 108 service within 20 minutes in urban and 30 minutes in rural areas. Additionally, Ziqitza also operates DIAL 104, a helpline for Medical Assistance and DIAL 181 for women and senior citizens.

Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd has been operating the 108 free ambulance service in the state since 2011 during which they have served more than 12 lakh people. Mr. Naresh Jain, CEO, Ziqitza Healthcare Limited commented, "Ziqitza has served more than 12 lakh people in the past five years of its tenure in Punjab.
