CII Recognizes Cyient as One of India's Most Innovative Organizations
HYDERABAD, India, Nov. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Cyient, a global provider of engineering, manufacturing, geospatial, and network and operations management services to global industry leaders, has been recognized by the CII Industrial Innovation Awards 2017 as one of the 'Top 26 Innovative Organizations' in India.
Instituted by CII in 2014, the CII Industrial Innovation Awards recognize and celebrate innovative Indian enterprises and budding start-ups across industry segments on an annual basis. For the 4th edition of the Awards, an illustrious grand jury, comprised of leaders in technology, business and the innovation space, evaluated the applications and declared the winners. The winning organizations were honored at an awards ceremony organized during the CII Industrial Innovation Summit 2017. Cyient was felicitated by Dr. Naushad Forbes, Past Chairman – CII, Co-Chairman – Forbes Marshall, at the ceremony.

- Eye Anatomy Visualization through AR/VR for L V Prasad Eye Institute: This project helped enhance medical learning through visualization and experiential interaction related to the anatomy of the eye by using emerging Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality technologies.
- Precision Agriculture Technologies: This project involved the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV/drones) to optimize consumption of fertilizers and pesticides in the agriculture industry. It will help farmers in India save costs and avoid excessive use of chemicals.
