Parul University's Statement to the Media, Regarding Their Ex-President Mr. Jayesh Patel

Mr. Devanshu Patel, the newly appointed president of Parul University has issued a clarification for the benefit of all students, staff, teachers and other faculty members at the Parul University.
As reported in the media, there is a police investigation against Mr. Jayesh Patel for allegations of sexual misconduct against a female student.
In this press release, Mr. Devanshu Patel clarifies, "The investigations are not against the university. The case has been registered against the individual - Mr Jayesh Patel (Ex-President of Parul University) who has since then retired from all activities at the university to aid the investigations in allowing the truth to prevail."
The University is in no way connected with the acts of any individual. The university has a singular objective of providing world-class education in a transparent and ethical manner. The university is committed to providing its students to world-class educational and boarding facilities at its campus.
Mr Devanshu Patel added, "We focus on education and are very clear that there will be no diversion in our focus by cases of alleged sexual misconduct against a former president of the university. If the authorities need anything from us, we will provide them with the same. However, at the moment the investigations are focused on the deeds of a single individual and I am sure that the investigations will lead to justice."
