1800 CAR WRECK Attorneys to Grand Marshal "People's Parade" Honoring MLK
The Dallas injury lawyers of the Eberstein & Witherite law firm have been selected as grand marshals for the historic "People's Parade" in Dallas.
DALLAS, Jan. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Galvanizing people from all walks to life to celebrate the strides made by civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., "The People's Parade" has been held in Dallas for nearly three decades. This year, the Dallas injury law firm of Eberstein & Witherite has been invited to share in the tradition as many throughout the city are set to come out to honor the legacy of King and others on Monday, January 20, 2014.
1800 CAR WRECK Attorneys Honored as Grand Marshals
Recognized as one of the largest MLK parades in the nation, "The People's Parade" will turn 27 this year and provide scholarships and camp sponsorships to selected youth. Participation is expected to be so grand scale that the city of Dallas has decided to embrace the event organized by Elite News as opposed to hosting its own.
Eberstein & Witherite lawyers Amy Witherite and Brian Eberstein will have the honor of serving as grand marshals for the popular event this year, making the presence of the 1800 CAR WRECK team a more monumental occasion for the Dallas firm. They will be joined by an impressive list of other public figures including NFL Hall of Fame Legend Earl Campbell. A festival will follow the parade that will take place at Fair Park, where 1800 CAR WRECK will have a booth to give out free calendars featuring African Americans who have made significant strides in American history.
1800 CAR WRECK will also have a float in the parade, and hand out gifts to those present at the event. EW Attorney and State Representative Nicole Collier will be representing the firm while on a float in the Fort Worth MLK parade.
