"2011 China's Top Ten Financial Blogs" List Released
FUZHOU, China, Jan. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- In 2011, the European debt crisis put the global economy into turmoil while the Chinese stock market remained sluggish. In the online world, financial bloggers made their contributions to debates, giving rise to many different opinions.
In October 2011, China's well-known financial portal Cnfol.com held the "2011 China's Top Ten Financial Blogs" vote, in association with a range of media organizations, including Xinhuanet.com, Chinanews.com and Ce.cn. Financial blogs put out by Sina and Tencent participated in the competition. Cnfol.com is well-regarded for having held 4 consecutive annual ballots since the event was launched in 2008.
On December 30, the winners voted by Chinese Internet users were announced. In addition to those that have been widely recognized across the Chinese financial sector, including Yetan and Xie Baisan, the ones winning the most votes were dominated by "grassroots", financial bloggers who represent the unofficial voices of the community and who are having an increasingly powerful influence in the online world.
