"We want to offer people a high-quality, no-frills restaurant," says Vinnie Calcagni, Vice President of Operations for JR's Burger Grill. "From experience, we know that sometimes people want to sit down and enjoy the entertaining elements of theme-dining...and sometimes they just want a simple meal that is made by-hand, served quickly and doesn't cost a lot."
JR's Burger Grill, located in Avondale's Village at Gateway Pavilions, features a simple build-your-own burger menu, traditional sandwiches, fries, onion rings and shakes, using the same fresh beef and high-quality ingredients as the full-service Johnny Rockets restaurants.
JR's Burger Grill emphasizes customized food at a speed and price designed for convenience. Customers at this new counter-service restaurant will have a selection of popular toppings from which to choose, as well as other fuss-free garnishes and a self-serve Coca-Cola fountain.
General Contractor for this project was Howry's Custom Construction.
