Rockhouse Live And VNUE, Inc. To Hold "Rockin' For Hope" Benefit For Memphis' Family Safety Center

NEW YORK, Nov. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Tech and music entrepreneur Zach Bair, CEO of VNUE, Inc. (OTCQB: VNUE), and also founder and operator of the RockHouse Live venue concepts, announced today that RockHouse Live Memphis would be hosting a concert benefit for the Family Safety Center of Memphis, and that VNUE would be recording the performances and making the content available for download immediately after each show via VNUE's set.fm instant mobile/digital content platform and collectible download cards.  Proceeds from download cards, as well as ticket sales, will benefit the Family Safety Center, an organization devoted to serving the hurting families of Memphis and Shelby County, Tennessee, who have been caught up in the trauma of domestic violence. 

Headlining the first annual "Rockin' for Hope" event will be Bair's own group, The Zach Bair Band, as well as two local female-fronted favorites, Kazha, and Stars Never Sleep.  The event will be held on Saturday, December 8^th, at RockHouse Live Memphis, 5709 Raleigh LaGrange.

Based on a national model, the Family Safety Center brings to one location essential services such as law enforcement, emergency housing referrals, legal advice, and counseling.  Most notably, by serving as a one-stop hub, the Family Safety Center streamlines an often intimidating, disjointed process that can exacerbate the problem of domestic violence. On average, a DV victim attempts to leave an abusive situation seven times before they are successful.

"When I found out about the Family Safety Center, I really wanted to do something to help," said Bair.  "After having owned my venues now in Memphis now for over five years, I have unfortunately seen and known many victims of domestic abuse, both customers and employees, some of whom have tragically lost their lives.  Domestic abuse seems to be at an epidemic level, and hopefully we can leverage Rockin' for Hope to not only raise money to help these people in the Mid-South area, but also to raise awareness of how big this problem really is."

Tickets for Rockin' for Hope are on sale now at www.rockhouselive.com, and will also be available at the door.  Fans may opt to purchase a limited edition download card with their ticket for just $40, or may buy the ticket alone for $25.  Those who cannot attend the performance may also purchase the download card and have it shipped to them globally for just $20, or a digital-only (download) of the show for $15, at www.set.fm.

Doors for the event will be at 6PM, with an early set provided by local band Groovehaven of Memphis, followed by a meet-n-greet, acknowledgements, and then the main entertainment lineup.
