Season Three of "Chasin' the Sun" To Air on Discovery Channel
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla., May 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- "Chasin' the Sun," the award-winning fishing and coastal lifestyle television series filmed in Panama City Beach, will air on Saturday mornings on Discovery Channel in 2018.
Discovery Channel reaches nearly 100 million U.S. households and ended 2016 as cable's #1 non-sports network among men for the second straight year, claiming nine of the top 10 unscripted series in the country.

"Chasin' The Sun" premiered on Sportsman Channel with 13 original episodes in 2016 as a vehicle to showcase Panama City Beach's diverse fisheries and to promote its reputation as an All-American, family vacation destination. Season two is currently airing Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. EDT on Destination America and six shows will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network in June.
The show was recently named a winner of a Silver Telly award in the General Travel/Tourism category for 2017.
Travis Holeman, nationally-known tournament angler and fishing guide, will join "Chasin' The Sun" as a feature segment host for the 2018 season. Capt. Justin Leake returns as host of the show to provide local knowledge gleaned from a lifetime of fishing the waters off Panama City Beach.
"Chasin' The Sun" is produced in partnership with Pinfish Media, whose principals have more than 30 years' experience producing outdoor programming for major properties including ESPN Outdoors, NBC Sports, Destination America, Sportsman Channel and Pursuit Channel.
The third season of "Chasin' The Sun" will premiere in late December 2017 in its regular time slot of Saturdays at 7:30 a.m.
