Television Audiences Encounter Big Laughs in "The Men's Room," as Pilot Episode is Made Available Online

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., June 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael Wilson, President of Atoz Productions, announced today the completion of production of the pilot, and launch of the presentation website, for the testosterone-fueled and guy-branded sketch-comedy series, "The Men's Room."

The weekly comedy series features a talented and breakout cast of nine culled from such notable comedy troupes as The Second City, The Upright Citizens Brigade, and The Groundlings, and is described by Wilson as a sketch-comedy show "By guys, for guys – and everyone who likes sketch comedy."

The focused and relatable production makes no compromises or excuses for its decidedly "Gents" point of view, targeting and scoring a direct bull's-eye for the extremely coveted, and currently disenfranchised, 18-49 male television audience.

The pilot episode delivers on its mission statement by creating an original and unique brand of live, sketch-comedy with pointed and riotous vignettes such as: two "Jersey Shore" types attempting to pick up women at a Widowed Mother Support group; a sexually adventurous couple trying "new things" in the bedroom; a commercial spoof for an absurdly too versatile product called KWEE; and one of the show's funniest re-occurring segments called: "Bad Ideas", which might be better named: "1001 Things All Guys Should Never Try," and hysterically lives up to its name.

The series stars: Cooper Barnes, T'Shaun Barrett, Scott Beehner, Robert Belushi, Sitara Falcon, Mark Gagliardi, Marta McGonagle, Jo Newman, Bruce Wexler, and was created and executive produced by veteran sketch-comedy and Emmy-nominated television producer Michael Wilson, whose credits include "Saturday Night Live" and "Politically Incorrect."

Ironically, the production pairs Wilson together with cast member Robert Belushi, as Michael's father, acclaimed television director Dave Wilson, had worked with Robert's late uncle John Belushi, and father Jim as cast members during the early years of Saturday Night Live.
