Winvision Announces "VER's Exclusive Agreement has Ended. No Renewal."
Interest mounting over what lies ahead for Korea's Galaxia Electronics, manufacturer of Winvision - LED video display used for live concerts and sporting events
SEOUL, South Korea, Nov. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Established in October 2006, Galaxia Electronics is a 'LED-oriented total solution company' devoted to developing and manufacturing "creative LED displays" and "LED lighting systems." In 2010, Galaxia Electronics entered into an exclusive agreement with VER, a U.S. equipment rental company for professional video equipment, computer presentation, large screen projection, audio/visual equipment and audio system, to provide LED displays for the U.S. and EU markets.
End of exclusivity, 'Market changer' with launch of new products
Galaxia Electronics announced "the exclusive agreement with VER has ended, there will be no renewal." With the termination of the agreement, Winvision will be reverted to Galaxia Electronics, who has trademark rights in the U.S., EU and Japan, and VER will no longer have the rights to its exclusive use. Furthermore, the company has commented to bring about a market shift with launch of New Winvision products with competitive pricing and improved performance over the existing reduced weight carbon fiber framed Winvision Air products.
