Starting in 2011 with a hand-made book for a young sports fan during his long-term hospitalization after getting hit by a car, Darla realized that sports activities books could both entertain and educate children and their families. The 30 Major League Baseball Sports Activities Books launching now join the current sets for all 32 NFL teams and for 34 college teams. The GO Series has grown dramatically from two books — University of Alabama and Auburn — that first year to 13 books in year two to 52 books in 2014. At 96 titles now, ITSZ will reach 100 titles by the end of 2015.
