Several new hires, promotions, new open positions, new tools and office changes set 1 EDI Source up for further innovation.
SOLON, Ohio, Jan. 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- 1 EDI Source rang in the New Year with many big changes that are reshaping several aspects and teams within the company and adding to company growth. Driven by the goal of continuing to enhance the value brought to customers, 1 EDI Source is making real improvements now for the benefit of clients and employees to promote innovation, provide the best EDI solutions, improve customer satisfaction and attract top talent.
Promotions from within for the Director of Client Services and Director of Product Management positions have shaped the already growing leadership team with additions of a new CFO, Director of Sales and Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2017.
New hires have also been brought on in the client services, IT, development and sales departments and several new positions are being added with job postings live now including: IT Administrator and Strategic Partner Manager. Additional new job positions are planned throughout 2018 as well.
With all the new employees being hired, a need for office restructuring was realized, leading to the relocation of several teams and walls coming down within the corporate headquarters. This transition will create a modern open and cohesive work environment, while eliminating "islands" to improve collaboration, communication and engagement.
New tools have been implemented to further enhance customer service and client projects for the in-house customer service team. With SalesForce going live for the sales department in 2017, new opportunities for improving processes in all departments were evaluated leading to the recent implementation of SalesForce Service Cloud within Client Services. Service Cloud is replacing a proprietary legacy system and adding new and improved reporting, efficiencies, accurate time keeping, automated case management and escalation, and increased visibility allowing for optimum collaboration between team members and across departments.
