1 Mainstream, Silver Chalice Partner to Bring Premium Sports Content to Amazon's Fire TV

CUPERTINO, Calif., April 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading over-the-top (OTT) streaming TV platform 1 Mainstream today announced that it has teamed with SportsLabs, a division of Silver Chalice Ventures, to launch the ACC Digital Network on Amazon's Fire TV. 1 Mainstream and SportsLabs worked with Amazon prior to the public launch of the device, to make ACC Digital Network available to customers right at launch.

As with the recent release of the ACC Sports app on Apple TV, the ACC Digital Network on Fire TV will also make Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) content available to the increasing number of households who are now streaming content through OTT set-top boxes. 1 Mainstream provides one-stop access to these households across the most popular devices including Apple TV, Roku, Xbox, Samsung and now Amazon Fire TV.

The ACC Digital Network on Amazon's Fire TV will offer Amazon customers access to more of the premium content they want. This content is of particular interest to passionate sports fans that are right now enjoying March Madness and also awaiting the upcoming NFL Draft.
