Never Forgotten follows the story of Sgt/ Paul Maynard, a doughboy from Connecticut. Among the first to volunteer for the Army, Paul survived some of the most brutal fighting American forces endured.

Eighteen teachers from around the country participated in the Understanding Sacrifice education program. These teachers created lesson plans for the classroom, available for free at abmceducation.org.

The Brothers in Arms statue at Sicily-Rome American Cemetery overlooks the nearly 8,000 headstones that mark the final resting place of Americans that gave their lives in World War II.

Normandy American Cemetery is the final resting place of more than 9,000 Americans that lost their lives during World War II.
