12 Year-Old Millburn Girl Lights Up Hillary Clinton's Campaign with a LuMee Case

BOONTON, N.J., Jan. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Local 12 year-old, Madeline Whittall, a 6th grader attending Millburn Middle School, shared today that she made an important delivery to a very special recipient earlier this week.

Madeline, a big Hillary Clinton fan, watched Mrs. Clinton's interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Monday and heard Mrs. Clinton desperately wanted the front-lit phone case used by Kim Kardashian West, but she could not find it anywhere.

Madeline knew exactly what it was and where to find it.  What Mrs. Clinton wanted was a LuMee Case, the light up phone case invented by her stepfather's friend, Allan Shoemake, a professional photographer who resides in Boonton, NJ. The New Jersey company recently partnered with none other than the world's selfie queen, Kim Kardashian West

Madeline also knew her stepfather, Richard Reilly, Senior Partner at DLA Piper who happens to be legal counsel for LuMee LLC, would be attending an event for Hillary Clinton this week.  Madeline put two and two together, and told her stepfather he should bring a LuMee Case to the event for Mrs. Clinton to use.

Reilly realized the brilliance of this idea immediately with one minor twist: he asked Madeline if she would like to show the LuMee Case to Mrs. Clinton herself.  "Madeline squealed with joy, she was so excited at the idea of meeting Hillary Clinton," said Reilly.

Madeline and her stepfather decided they would attend the event together, and she would proudly take a selfie with Mrs. Clinton using the LuMee Case on her phone.

Madeline stated, "I think everybody who shares 'selfies' should have a LuMee Case.  It really does work to make you look your best!  And when you want to be President, you have to look your best all the time.  I'm so glad I could help Mrs. Clinton find the LuMee Case.  I wonder what color she will order!"
