125 Years of Bosch - Invented for Life

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., May 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- In 2011, The Bosch Group is celebrating its 125th anniversary, as well as the 150th anniversary of its founder's birth.  On Nov. 15, 1886, Robert Bosch established his "Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering" in Stuttgart, Germany, laying the foundation for what has become a leading global supplier of technology and services.

These events combined will host more than half the cumulative total of North American Bosch associates.

At each event, the SAE "A World In Motion®" (AWIM) program has helped to design family-focused activities such as glider and skimmer challenges, which will allow kids to build and race handcrafted boats and planes.
