Right Choice Construction joins as an Event Title sponsor for the November 6–7 fundraiser benefiting Camp Hope and the PTSD Foundation of America.
HOUSTON, Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Right Choice Construction (RCC), a Houston-based, woman-owned commercial and industrial general contractor, is sponsoring and participating in the 15th Annual Camp Hope BBQ Cook-Off, taking place November 6–7, 2026, at Sam Houston Race Park in Houston. The annual fundraiser supports Camp Hope and the PTSD Foundation of America, helping provide critical programs and services to combat veterans and their families affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Celebrating 15 years of community impact, this year's event will feature a new addition: a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) rodeo. The weekend will bring together barbecue teams, sponsors, volunteers, and community members to support veterans navigating the often-invisible wounds of military service.
For Right Choice Construction Founder, President and CEO Danielle Wright, the cause is deeply personal. With a strong military background in her family, Wright has experienced the loss of her uncle to suicide following his battle with the condition.
"Supporting the PTSD Foundation of America and Camp Hope is deeply personal to me. With a strong military legacy in my family, I have witnessed firsthand the devastating impact PTSD can have on veterans and the families who love them," says Wright.
"Losing my uncle to suicide after his battle with PTSD is a reminder that the wounds of service are not always visible, and that no hero should have to fight those battles alone. Through Right Choice Construction's involvement in the Camp Hope BBQ Cook-Off, I am proud that we can help support a mission that brings hope, healing, and a path forward to those who have sacrificed so much for our country."
Right Choice Construction's sponsorship reflects its commitment to supporting meaningful community initiatives and the people they serve. The company is honored to join fellow supporters in advancing Camp Hope's mission and raising awareness of the resources available to veterans and their families.
Christy Carbaugh with PTSD Foundation of America said, "Camp Hope exists to restore hope and healing to veterans and their families impacted by the invisible wounds of war. Through peer-driven support, clinical partnerships, and a community built on resilience, Camp Hope provides a path forward for veterans struggling with PTSD, helping them reclaim purpose, reconnect with their families, and build a future filled with hope."
Located in Houston, Camp Hope provides a six- to nine-month interim housing and recovery program at no cost to veterans or their families. Since opening in 2012, the program has combined peer support, certified combat trauma mentoring, weekly sessions with licensed health care professionals, and professional development to help veterans pursue recovery and rebuild their lives.
