Mixing editorial content with shoppable pages, the catalog follows the tremendous success of 1stdibs' Contemporary category, which launched on its website last year. Contemporary will be sent to 1stdibs' ultra high net worth customer base and a special edition, with exclusive trade pricing, will be sent to 40,000 interior designers that are part of the company's trade program.
A blend of retail and editorial, Contemporary provides not only a preview of how items found on 1stdibs can be professionally styled in the home, but also a narrative around the makers and artisans who craft the pieces sold on the platform. Each section includes maker spotlights, offering context for consumers to learn more about their purchases -- where they came from and who made them -- as well as designer quotes and photos. The Company plans to issue this catalog quarterly.

Most product is available in multiple finishes and can be customized, from more than 500 sellers from across the globe.
