Mar 07, 2011, 09:00 ET from National Ergonomics Conference and Expo (ErgoExpo)

NEW YORK, March 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The 16th Annual National Ergonomics Conference and Exposition (ErgoExpo) will be held at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, November 29December 2, 2011, with the Expo open November 30December 2.  With ten months until the show, the Expo is already larger than last year with 97% of exhibitors renewing for 2011, and new exhibitors joining the show.

Industry leaders including 3M, AliMed, Equipois, Fellowes, Herman Miller, Steelcase, Power Pusher by NuStar and many others plan to exhibit.  46% of attendees reported that they plan to increase spending on ergonomics and safety products in 2011.  Attendee demographics, spending plans, and a current floor plan are online at www.ErgoExpo.com.

The date change is led by a need to provide larger conference rooms for ErgoExpo's growing audience.  "In 2010 a few sessions were standing room only, and while signs of a growing audience and larger Expo are positive ones, we strive to make the attendees' experience a productive and comfortable one," remarked Walter Charnizon, President, Continental Exhibitions, Inc., owners / producers of ErgoExpo.

Attendees have already begun to take advantage of new early bird discounts, available online at www.ErgoExpo.com.  In an effort to help attendees stay on budget, this year's early bird rates allow them to pay less for the conference than they did last year.

ErgoExpo is also experiencing success with an expanded educational webinar series, "ErgoExpo Webinar Wednesdays" which take place the second Wednesday of the month.  The March 9 webinar is:  "Ergonomics & Wellness Strategies for the Aging Workforce" presented by Richard Bunch, PhD, PT, CBES, Clinical Associate Professor, Tulane University Medical Center.  Hundreds have already registered for the webinar, registration is free at www.ErgoExpo.com.  These webinars are a great way to keep your ergonomics program on track year-round, and are a sample of the high quality  education available at ErgoExpo.  Nuance Communications is sponsoring the Wednesday, April 13 webinar which will explore the productivity enhancing perks of speech recognition software experienced by users at Intel.

Those interested in speaking should note the March 15 deadline, the application is online at www.ErgoExpo.com.  Those interested in exhibiting and webinar sponsorship should contact Lenore Kolb, VP Sales & Marketing at lkolb@ergoexpo.com, 212-370-5005 x23.
