2011 PLANSPONSOR Survey: BMO Institutional Trust Services Tops List of Retirement Plan Providers Most Likely to Be Recommended by Clients
Earns More "Best in Class" Designations than Any Other Provider
MILWAUKEE, Dec. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- BMO Institutional Trust Services (formerly known as M&I Institutional Trust Services) topped the list of retirement plan providers most likely to be recommended by clients in the newly-released 2011 PLANSPONSOR Defined Contribution Survey.
Now in its 16th year, the Survey's tabulations were based on the responses of more than 7,000 retirement plans.
BMO Institutional Trust Services also earned "best in class" designations across all 23 plan sponsor and participant service categories in the small and mid-sized retirement plan markets. This feat was unmatched by any of the other 45 providers included in the survey.
"Many retirement plan providers claim to offer exemplary service, but the proof resides entirely in the client's judgment," said James (Jamie) Cahn, president of BMO Institutional Trust Services. "Our primary goal remains the same year-in and year-out, which is to deliver high-satisfaction service in every aspect of our relationship with our clients, the plan sponsors, and their participants."
Cahn noted that his executive team is already planning how to boost selected metrics in 2012 for the group's participant call centers, retiree services, range of investments, plan benchmarking and other key service areas.
