Key figures from the National Energy Administration, the State Grid Corporation of China, China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd., the People's Government of Xiaoshan District in Hangzhou, and Tsinghua University were among the attendees. Keynote speeches were delivered by Shi Yigong, president of Westlake University and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Zhang Dongxiao, executive vice president and dean of academic affairs at Easter Institute of Technology, Ningbo and and a member of the US National Academy of Engineering.
