The 2026 Honda Prelude brings hybrid performance and modern sporty style to drivers in St. John's, NL, with a powertrain designed to make everyday drives more engaging. The 2026 Prelude pairs a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle engine with one electric motor to produce up to 200 horsepower and 232 lb.-ft. of torque. The hybrid setup combines responsive acceleration with the efficiency benefits of electrified driving.

The Honda brand's new S+ Shift system adds simulated gear changes, rev-matching and sharper response to create a more engaging driving experience. Deceleration Paddle Selectors also give drivers greater control over regenerative braking, while Coasting Control helps manage deceleration when lifting off the accelerator.

Handling is another highlight of the Prelude. Its dual-axis strut front suspension is inspired by the Civic Type R, while the standard Adaptive Damper System adjusts suspension response. Agile Handling Assist works with the braking system during cornering to support steering response and stability. Together, these features give the Prelude a composed feel while retaining the sporty character expected from a performance-focused coupe.

Technology inside the 2026 Honda Prelude keeps drivers connected and informed. A 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster displays key driving information, while a 9-inch HD color touchscreen provides access to entertainment, navigation, Google built-in and available HondaLink connected services. Wireless smartphone charging, two USB-C ports, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, Apple CarPlay^®, Android Auto^™ and an eight-speaker Bose^® premium audio system add convenience for daily travel.
