24th Annual Minnesota AIDS Walk & 4th Annual Run For The Ribbon
Sunday, May 15 (9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)
MINNEAPOLIS, May 14, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Minnesota AIDS Walk is the Upper Midwest's largest HIV fundraiser and attracts about 5,000 supporters of the GLBT community as well as other audiences with a sense of civic leadership.
The dollars raised at the Walk/Run help MAP provide direct care for people living with HIV in Minnesota as well as support programs on HIV prevention and advocacy. All funds raised stay in Minnesota
Mini-health fair including HIV Testing.

SCHEDULE:
9:00 a.m. Run for the Ribbon(4 mile course)
10:00 a.m. Opening Ceremonies
11:00 a.m. Minnesota AIDS Walk(10 kilometer route along and across the Mississippi River)
12:30 p.m. Post-walk Celebration with Rock the Cause
5,000 Participants expected
