26th Annual Rainbow PUSH Global Automotive Summit Convenes to Expand Economic Opportunities for All
DETROIT, Oct. 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Leaders of the global automotive industry will convene in Detroit on October 14-15, 2025 for the 26th Annual Rainbow PUSH Global Automotive Summit, an initiative of the Citizenship Education Fund. The multi-day event, held at Motor City Casino Hotel Conference Center, will bring together more than 300 automotive executives, suppliers, dealers, elected officials, and consumers to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the automotive sector.
This conference will serve as a critical forum for relationship-building and information-sharing about how to build a stronger and more resilient industry. Topics explored will include the state of the automotive industry, the strategic role of professional services, and the importance of auto technicians and engineers. The conference's cornerstone panel discussion will feature vice presidents of global purchasing from top global automakers who will exchange views about the critical role of Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers. Additionally, Elizabeth Krear, president and CEO of Center for Automotive Research, will participate in a fireside chat-style conversation to share insight and context of the auto industry's current standing.
"This is a defining moment in the automotive industry," John Graves said, chairman of the Rainbow PUSH Automotive Project and the Citizenship Education Fund, organizers of the Global Automotive Summit. "The challenges ahead are real—whether it's adapting to new technologies, managing supply chain shifts, or preparing tomorrow's workforce. But that's why the Automotive Summit matters. When we bring the brightest minds in the industry together, we move from uncertainty to possibility. That's where progress begins."
Beyond panel discussions and presentations, the Global Automotive Summit will also honor seven individuals who have made their mark on the industry as Emerging Leaders and Living Legends.
Automakers have been advised that the Automotive Brand Equity Index has been developed utilizing brand data supplied by S & P Global Mobility, the global leader of automotive intelligence. The outcome of this business case will validate brand share of new vehicle registrations. Consequently, automakers that over-index in a demographic, inherently have a growth opportunity to support and invest accordingly.
The inaugural Automotive Brand Equity Index will be announced on November 3.
