Old St. Pat's World's Largest Block Party is just around the corner
CHICAGO, June 27, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Old St. Pat's World's Largest Block Party is more than a place to meet your match – it's a party with a purpose. More than 18,000 people will meet, mingle and dance while enjoying two stages of live music, two nights filled with fun, and two blocks of great food and drinks – all while supporting a great cause.
Old St. Pat's is thrilled to have Ben Folds Five as our main stage headliner. The band will be reuniting as the main stage headliner on Friday, June 29th with opening acts from Out for Hours, Joe Pug, The Spazmatics and Number 9. Saturday, June 30th Lifehouse takes the stage as our headliner, opening for them will be No Love For Linus, Vintage Blue, and Brett Dennen and Mike & Joe will be entertaining the crowd from the South Stage.
Celebrity Bartenders will serve beverages from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Main Stage bar. This year's bartender lineup includes: Chicago Bulls Ambassador and former player Sidney Green, Amazing Race winners Ernie and Cindy Halvorsen, WGN's Dean Richards and Lourdes Duarte, John Garcia and Ravi Baichwal from ABC 7, Rob Stafford, Stefan Holt, Daniella Guzman of NBC 5, WIND-AM radio's Amy Jacobson and Geoff Pinkus and Chicago fashion designer Borris Powell, and many more!
Tickets are $40 in advance, $45 at the gate, if event is not sold-out. Two-night passes are also available for $75. Admission includes four FREE beverages with choice of beer, wine, soda or bottled water.
Proceeds support the outreach efforts of Old St. Patrick's and the Center for Social Concerns on the Old St. Pat's campus, which houses the following outreach programs: Horizons for Youth; Career Transitions Center of Chicago; and Global Alliance for Africa.
