National Christian Foundation, the Largest Sponsor of Donor-Advised Funds for Christians, Expands Network on April 18
ATLANTA, April 14, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In keeping with new research that reveals that the more Americans give to their houses of worship, the more they give to other charities(1), big changes are afoot for the nation's pre-eminent sponsor of donor-advised funds for Christians. Extending its reach nationally, National Christian Foundation (NCF), the 34th largest charity in the U.S. (Chronicle of Philanthropy), will join forces with 24 affiliate offices across the country that will adopt the National Christian Foundation name and brand on April 18, 2011.
"We're excited to unite even more closely with givers in communities throughout America," said NCF President David Wills. "At a time when the needs are so great, we'll be able to offer more resources to help local givers do more good for their community, their country, and the world."
NCF has recently overhauled its website to provide a more dynamic online experience. Visitors can log on to www.NationalChristian.com to subscribe to a nationwide blog and connect with other givers and generosity experts across the country. The website also offers a wealth of free resources to help business owners, professional advisors, churches, and ministries.
National Christian Foundation (NCF) is a nationwide grant-making network that funds the charitable causes recommended by their givers. The NCF Giving Fund® helps givers simplify the process of contributing to their favorite non-profits and multiplies the impact of their gifts through tax-wise strategies. Since 1982, NCF has become America's largest sponsor of donor-advised funds for Christian givers with more than $4 billion in contributions and over $2.5 billion granted to thousands of churches, ministries, and non-profits.
