BallenIsles historic championship East Course, where legendary players like Jack Nicklaus, Julius Boros and Sam Snead won PGA Championships, will be the fitting setting for the third year of the Ryder Cup format tournament.
In the invitation-only event, 36 accomplished junior golfers from the local community will compete Saturday in a "Partners Better Ball" and "Alternate Shot" match play. The Sunday format will be individual matches on 18 holes.
"We're very grateful to our sponsors Cleveland Golf and Srixon for helping us roll out the red carpet again on a superb event for these accomplished Junior Golfers," said Brian Kelley, BallenIsles Director of Golf.
Players received a Cleveland Golf Stand Bag, Golf Shirts, Hats, and Srixon Golf Balls during a demo day with Cleveland Golf and Srixon, that presented the juniors with an opportunity to try the latest in golf equipment, while a pairings party determined an "East" and "West" team.
