4A's Expands Talent Team to Increase Focus on High School Initiatives

Al Benoit Joins as Industry Education Liaison for 4A's High School Initiative

NEW YORK, Aug. 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The 4A's, the leading trade association representing the advertising agency business, today announced that it will expand its talent team by appointing Al Benoit as Industry Education Liaison for its High School Initiative.

In this role, Mr. Benoit will support the 4A's mission to build a sustainable pipeline of multicultural talent for the advertising industry, beginning at the high school level. He will be charged with increasing engagement between advertising industry professionals, the 4A's and high school students at the Manhattan Early College School for Advertising (MECA) and iAM (The High School for Innovation in Advertising and Media) in Brooklyn, New York. He will also represent the 4A's in building relationships with high school administrators and executives within the Department of Education, the City University of New York (CUNY), as well as the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC).

Mr. Benoit has nearly two decades of experience working in agencies including Foote, Cone & Belding; Saatchi & Saatchi; Mediacom; and Initiative, among others. Recently, he held the position of Partner, Communications Planning Director at Mediacom, working with clients such as Dell and Subway. During his career he served as a mentor for the 4A's Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP) for nine years. He is also an adjunct professor of integrated marketing at New York University.
