5app aims to fill a growing gap in the market for simple, quick-to-deploy mobile app management (MAM) solutions targeted at mid-tier enterprise businesses that want to mobilise their business processes and embrace Bring Your Own Device (BYOD).

For £2.50 per user/per month, companies can upgrade to 5app's premium service where they can add their own custom apps, as well as apps from other distribution points, to the store. All apps are securely published to employees, with access managed via Active Directory Groups.

5app is also Beta testing its build service, which for an additional £5.00 per user/per month allows companies to mobilize business process by rapidly developing apps in-house. Enterprises can utilize existing skills by developing in standard web code, which will then be turned into fully functioning mobile apps for iOS and Android devices. Companies can share these apps instantly with selected team members for testing, before rolling out company wide.
