Slurpee drink fans are invited to stick out their tongues along with a Slurpee tongue straw in the first ever Sun's Out-Tongue's Out Sweepstakes. Post the craziest pix on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter before midnight with the hashtags –  #sunsouttonguesout and #sweepstakes. One lucky person who posts a pic will be chosen in a random drawing to win a free year of Slurpee drinks, or one medium size per day for 365 days (approximately $550 value).

"Novelty straws have long been a popular Slurpee accessory," said Jacob Barnes, 7-Eleven category manager for cold beverages. "We've offered mustache straws, spirit animals and sharks in the past, and people have a lot of fun with them. And the crazier the straw, the faster it shows up on social media."

Even without one of the featured straws, Slurpee drink fans can post photos of their brightly colored tongues as a result of drinking their favorite flavor. The current featured Slurpee flavor is the bright blue Cap'n Crunch Crunch Berries, re-created as a delicious frozen treat from one of America's most beloved cereal brands. Other colorful flavors available at participating stores might include Wild Cherry, Blue Raspberry, Pina Colada, Coca-Cola and Slurpee Lite^® Lemonade. Slurpee flavors and colors vary by store.

Create and post a photo sticking your tongue out with a 7-Eleven Slurpee drink and limited-edition tongue straw by responding to 7-Eleven's National Stick Out Your Tongue Day post on its Facebook page. • Twitter – Log into Twitter account or join Twitter at www.twitter.com (tweets must be set to "public" and joining Twitter is free).
