Barton has written and produced campaigns for some of the world's most famous brands, including Nike, Apple, Hewlett-Packard, Hyundai and Lexus. At one time or other in his 17 year career, his name has appeared on business cards from Wieden+Kennedy, TBWA\MAL, Goodby Silverstien & Partners and Cole & Weber.
His creative work has been celebrated at Cannes, The One Show, Communication Arts, ADC, the Tokyo Copywriters' Club and elsewhere. The "Mac vs PC" campaign he co-created was recognized as the Most Effective Campaign in the World for 2006 and voted Campaign of the Decade by AdWeek.
