786 Cosmetics Creates a Halal Nail Polish Brand Inspired by Cities From Around the World

CHICAGO, Sept. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- 786 Cosmetics launched their summer collection of halal nail polish colors inspired by Muslim cities around the world! The cosmetics company was created in June of 2017, and started taking pre-orders for colors inspired by Doha, Fez, Granada, and more. They currently have full stock for six of their colors, and the limited edition colors of Kashmir and Abu Dhabi will be rolling out in September.

Based in Chicago, Illinois, the company's goal is to "provide quality products tailored to the women of Muslim communities." 786 Cosmetics is proud to have discovered a formula for its nail polish that does not contain or harm any animals, and is able to allow water to seep through the paint so that people can partake in wudu, the ritual washing before prayer, while wearing the product.

The founders were motivated to create a halal cosmetics brand because they recognized the profound need for beauty products that could be used by Muslim women in the United States. But after they saw an overwhelming response from Muslim women around the world that also didn't have access to the proper cosmetics, they started selling internationally. "Our biggest client base is international, which was a huge surprise for us. We have so many people from around the world who want colors because they're named after their homeland or their favorite city. It just gives us the motivation to keep providing more and more color choices inspired by the places we come from and love!" says Iqra, one of the founders of the brand.

Keep an eye out for Limited Edition Kashmir, inspired by "tea pink" Kashmiri Chai, and Abu Dhabi, inspired by the white marble of the Grand Mosque, which will be releasing in mid-September.

The winter collection is expected to release in October of this year with colors inspired by Istanbul, Dubai, Karachi and more.
