8 CAA Insurance Agents Elected to 2015 KAIA Leadership Positions

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Combined Agents of America, LLC (CAA) announced that eight of its members and agents were elected to the 2015 Kansas Association of Insurance Agents (KAIA) board of directors. Additionally, four of these members will serve on its executive committee. Dusty Davis, a broker at ICI Insurance (a CAA member agency), will serve as president-elect of the KAIA board of directors for 2015. CAA member Robert Wood, president of Wood-Dulohery Insurance, Inc., will serve as immediate past president. CAA member Scott Strong, president of Strong's Insurance, will serve as secretary, and CAA member Lyle Davidson, manager of Fouts, Davidson, Burks Agency LLC, will serve as treasurer. With members in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas, CAA is an agency partnership committed to strengthening the independent insurance agency system by providing superior service to our customers and insurance companies across the country.

Last week, CAA member Alan Schlesener, owner of Keller-Leopold Insurance, was newly elected to the 17-member board of directors. Elections were held at KAIA annual meeting October 15, 2014 in Wichita, Kansas.

Additionally, the following three CAA agents will continue to serve out their 3-year term on the board of directors in 2015: Chad Fuqua, owner of Fuqua Ruth Typer Insurance, Jim Runnebaum, president of SBS Insurance Agency, and JoErin Stuteville, at Elliott Insurance Group.

President Elect, Dusty Davis, CIC, broker at ICI Insurance, a CAA member agency, has served on the KAIA board since 2006, and will become president in October 2015. Davis was first elected to the executive committee in 2012, and most recently as treasurer in 2013. Immediate Past President, Robert Wood, president of Wood-Dulohery Insurance, Inc. and CAA member, has served on the KAIA board of directors since 2003, most recently as vice president, president-elect and this year as president. In 2001, the local chamber named him Business Person of the Year. That same year, he was recognized with KAIA's Agent of Merit award for service to his community. Once elected to the executive committee of the KAIA BOD, members serve a 5-year term.
