8fit announces $10M in total funding with close of Series A

PALO ALTO, Calif. and BERLIN, Sept. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- 8fit, a health and fitness company building the most engaging and approachable way for people to achieve healthy habits for life, announced today a total of $10M in funding with the closing of a Series A round led by Creandum and Eight Roads Ventures.

Launched in 2014 by repeat entrepreneurs Pablo Villalba and Pedro Solá, 8fit makes healthy living simple by providing tailored guidance, including workouts and meal plans, in an easy-to-use app. The company has already helped more than 10 million people achieve their personal fitness goals with customized plans that adapt to their lifestyle, preferences and goals, with more than 50 percent of those people based in the U.S.
