TechWeb Survey Establishes Interop as the Event for Active IT Buyers

• Over 80% purchased IT products and services within six months after attending Interop Las Vegas 2009 (event dates were May 18-22)
• The average amount spent after attending Interop Las Vegas 2009 was $745,677 - up from $671,487 in the six months following Interop Las Vegas 2008
• 95% of Interop attendees play a role in purchasing IT products and services
• 85% of Interop attendees have direct involvement with IT vendors
• 85% of Interop attendees' 2010 IT budgets will increase or remain flat compared with 2009; 43% are forecasting an increase
• Over 50% of Interop attendees discovered a new vendor for consideration
