A decade in farmland investing: successes, lessons learned and outlook at 10th annual Global AgInvesting conference
NEW YORK, Jan. 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Registration is now open for the 10th anniversary Global AgInvesting conference here April 23-25, 2018 at the Grand Hyatt New York. Each year, Global AgInvesting brings together close to 700 international investors, farm and fund managers, and agribusiness executives seeking to navigate the complex investment opportunities in the oldest industry in the world, and one of its most nascent asset classes.

"We saw the NCREIF Farmland Index increase from $1.1 billion in 2008 to $8.1 billion in 2017. This growth had been fueled by a combination of new properties being added to the index combined with increased asset values. The expansion of the U.S. market was complemented by growth in other key markets around the world, including Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, and Eastern Europe." Conrad will continue this discussion at the event, highlighting six key trends that have shaped the farmland asset class over the last decade.
