International Interior Design Association of Northern California (IIDA NC) hosts Pioneers in Design highlighting San Francisco design legend
SAN FRANCISCO, July 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The IIDA NC hosted a thought provoking program at SF Jazz Center in Hayes Valley. The annual event looks at the influence of Interior design and focus this year was the design vision of San Francisco legend, Charles Pfister. Charles was a pioneer in shaping the corporate interior design profession as we know it today. Panelists included, Pamela Babey, BAMO, Richard Brayton, Brayton and Hughes, David Darling, Aidlin Darling, and Jeffry Weisman, Fisher Weisman. All worked at The Pfister Partnership and went on to create their own legacies in the Bay Area. Moderator Stanley Abercrombie, former Editor-in-Chief of Interior Design Magazine, lead the discussion and took the audience on an adventure through anecdotes of life working for and with the design legend.
