A year after reducing tuition/fees 12.5 percent, Cabrini College freezes for 2013-14
RADNOR, Pa., Nov. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- One year after Cabrini College announced a 12.5 percent reduction in tuition and fees, the College announced it will freeze tuition and fees for the 2013-14 academic year.
Tuition and fees will remain at the current level of $29,000 through May 2014. Last year, the College pledged to keep tuition and fees below $30,000 through May 2015.
"This affordability plan, which Cabrini first announced in November 2011, is very much in keeping with the College's mission of providing an Education of the Heart," said President Marie Angelella George, Ph.D. "Cabrini College has heard the concerns of students and families about rising tuition costs, and we are doing what we can to ensure that a Cabrini education remains affordable, especially for the middle-class families the College traditionally has served."
On average, full-time undergraduate students at Cabrini are paying $3,197 less in tuition and fees in the 2012-13 academic year than they did last year.
"This plan for affordability helps students and their families plan for college costs," said President George. "Students will continue to experience the same extraordinary programs and faculty for which Cabrini is known."
