
AAHSA Leaders Named to NonProfit Times' 'Power and Influence Top 50' List
WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The NonProfit Times recently named Larry Minnix, president and CEO of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA), and AAHSA board member Jill Schumann to the publication's annual "Power and Influence Top 50" list.
The annual list features individuals selected for "the impact they have now and for the innovative plans they are putting into place to evolve the charitable sector."
According to the publication, Minnix is "flexing the muscle of mature Americans for funding for long-term care and is facilitating the discussion regarding ethical issues of growing old in a society that markets to the perpetually young." This marks Minnix's third appearance on the list.
The publication lauds Jill Schumann, CEO of Lutheran Services in America for her leadership in an organization whose members serve one in 50 Americans. Schumann's been named to the list five times.
