Performed by an independent auditing firm in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE), ABBYY's data security practices and systems, and privacy policies were extensively tested to ensure compliance with the security and breach notification requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Service Organization Controls (SOC) 2.
