ABF Logistics' Oklahoma City Branch Moves into New Facility
- Company relocates to larger building in anticipation of growth
FORT SMITH, Ark., June 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ABF Logisticssm, an ArcBest company (Nasdaq: ARCB), will open its new office in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, June 24 at 4 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting at 1331 W. Memorial Drive Suite 106. Jim Ingram, ABF Logistics president, along with other ABF Logistics leaders, will host the event.
Earlier this year, ABF Logistics purchased Oklahoma City-based Smart Lines LLC as a platform for growth. Relocation to the new 100-seat facility will accommodate additional employees as the company grows. "The new positions will be professional-level jobs that are good for the Oklahoma City economy, offering team members an opportunity to work for a growing company and pursue individual career growth," said Ingram.
The new 13,000-square-foot facility will house both sales and operations teams that specialize in truckload brokerage and intermodal transport.
