ABI Document Support Services' New York Office Honored With a 2018 Top Workplaces Award by Newsday

LOMA LINDA, Calif., Oct. 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- ABI Document Support Services, the leading national provider of record retrieval and document management services to the insurance and legal industries, today announced that its Northeast Regional Headquarters in Garden City, New York has been named a 2018 "Top Workplace" by Newsday. The office employs fifty people – all of which were surveyed on their experience as part of the nomination process.

"We are proud to be honored as a 'Top Place to Work' by such a prestigious publication. There is no better validation that our work environment is motivating and productive than confirming this with a survey completed by our employees," said Joan Diehl, Director, Northeast Operations for ABI. "We look forward to our continued growth at this headquarters and as a company as we move into 2019."

The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

"Top Workplaces is more than just recognition," said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. "Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement."

ABI, which retrieves records from over 65,000 facilities monthly for its nationwide customer base, also has regional headquarters in California, Arizona, Texas, Missouri and Florida.

"Becoming a Top Workplace isn't something organizations can buy," Claffey said. "It's an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It's a big deal."
